The girl is real. Drawn in graphite and color pencil — skin, lips, shadows, calm. She’s at peace. Eyes closed. Still.

But her mind isn’t.

Her hair is gone. In its place: flowers, characters, eyes, chaos, color. Doodles on steroids. That’s what overthinking looks like. That’s what anxiety blooms into. That’s what happens when your brain won’t shut up but your face has to stay composed.

I made this to show the split. Outside: collected, beautiful, silent. Inside: a neon garden you can’t turn off. Every flower is a thought. Every character is a memory or a worry or a song lyric stuck on loop.We lose our minds quietly. We look fine doing it.
